According to the bank provided information, the project involves a proposed Middle-Income Country Technical Assistance Fund (MIC-TAF) Grant of UA 499 000 to the Government of the Arab Republic of Egypt to support the Delivery Unit Support Project (DUSP).
This technical assistance is part of the Bank's efforts to improve the effectiveness and the efficiency of aid management and coordination, through a direct support to MOPEDIC, which manage and monitor the legal and financial aspects of Official Development Assistance (ODA) agreements and protocols, as well as matters related to ODA planning, management, monitoring, and evaluation at project/program level which are done jointly with the DPs.
The overarching objective of the project is to enhance the capacity of the MOPEDIC through the implementation of a Delivery Unit (DU) to drive aid coordination/management and resource mobilization.
