Project Description

According to the IADB, the general objective of this Technical Cooperation (TC) is to strengthen the functioning of the cross-cutting systems for planning, monitoring, and evaluation (M&E) in Honduras and their linkage with the budgetary and public investment system, as well as to enhance institutional capacities for the implementation of priority digital government initiatives through the strengthening of the Honduran Digital Republic Agency (AGEHRED). The specific objectives are: (i) to strengthen the strategic systems of planning, monitoring, and evaluation, and their articulation with the budget and public investment system to increase effectiveness in achieving the government's priority objectives; and (ii) to improve capacities to consolidate institutional frameworks and implement the initiatives that comprise Honduras's digital government agenda through the strengthening of the Honduran Digital Republic Agency (AGEHRED).
