Project Description

According to the IADB, the Technical Cooperation (TC) aims to provide operational support to the Economic and Social Assistance Funds (FAES, Fonds d'Assistance Economique et Sociale) in the development and implementation of IDB-financed operations in Haiti. Given the complexity and scale of activities, FAES require enhanced operational support, which will be provided through: (i) support FAES annual planning, monitoring, reporting, and implementation activities; (ii) technical training for the executing agency and mobilization of consultants; and (iii) support the design, implementation and evaluation of Early Childhood Development (ECD) initiatives.

The Independent Consultation and Investigation Mechanism (MICI) is the independent complaint mechanism and fact-finding body for people who have been or are likely to be adversely affected by an Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) or Inter-American Investment Corporation (IIC)-funded project.
