Translate to spanish The objective of this technical cooperation is to accelerate the adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology in Haiti by training digital professionals, private sector companies and government agent to create new opportunities to stimulate economic growth and innovation. This TC aims to support and fund the efforts of digitization and the digital economy in Haiti by developing an AI ecosystem that will enable businesses to understand the scale of the technological challenges, train qualified digital professionals and enable private companies to leverage AI to improve their operational efficiency, competitiveness, empower government to initiate brainstorm around policies and legal framework to regulate these initiatives. It will serve as a pilot to foster conversations about Haiti's potential and needs to integrate the digital economy as well as access and awareness to/about technology in the AI era.
ACCOUNTABILITY MECHANISM OF IADB
The Independent Consultation and Investigation Mechanism (MICI) is the independent complaint mechanism and fact-finding body for people who have been or are likely to be adversely affected by an Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) or Inter-American Investment Corporation (IIC)-funded project. If you submit a complaint to MICI, they may assist you in addressing the problems you raised through a dispute-resolution process with those implementing the project and/or through an investigation to assess whether the IDB or IIC is following its own policies for preventing or mitigating harm to people or the environment.
