Project Description

From the IDB: "The Project will develop a model to provide affordable sanitation services in dense urban areas. The model combines low-cost, user-approved ecological toilets with innovative waste collection systems, and then treats all the waste at minimal operating expense using a simple, low-cost composting methods that safely transform the collected toilet wastes into agricultural-grade compost."

If you submit a complaint to MICI, they may assist you in addressing the problems you raised through a dispute-resolution process with those implementing the project and/or through an investigation to assess whether the IDB or IIC is following its own policies for preventing or mitigating harm to people or the environment.
