The general objective of this PBP is to strengthen the protection of vulnerable populations by enhancing the MHSSS's capacity to efficiently implement the social safety net and promote gender empowerment. The specific objectives include: (i) improve the efficiency of the social safety net through the digital transformation of the MHSSS; (ii) strengthen the Senior Citizen's Pension program; (iii) support to empowerment of persons with disabilities through the Public Assistance program and the activities of the Learning Lab; and (iv) support gender empowerment through services for victims of gender-based violence, economic empowerment of women, and support to victims of trafficking-in-persons.
