Project Description

According to the IADB, the objective of the technical cooperation is to support the strengthening of the technical, financial, and administrative capacities of the Municipal Development Institute (INFOM), in order to enhance its ability to fulfill its responsibilities in supporting municipalities in Guatemala in the areas of water, sanitation, and solid waste management. It also aims to strengthen the institution in its role as the executing agency of the "Environmental Sanitation Program in the Motagua River Basin – Phase I" (GU-L1188).
