ARAF will focus only on East and West Africa. These two regions have large populations engaged in primitive agriculture and are very vulnerable to the impact of climate change. African agriculture also presents a huge opportunity given its underdeveloped nature, as development in the sector can be aligned with climate resilience objectives without the costs of unwinding existing developments and relearning.</div>
