Project Description
If provided by the financial institution, the Early Warning System Team writes a short summary describing the purported development objective of the project and project components. Review the complete project documentation for a detailed description.

According to the IADB, the objective of the program is to consolidate educational paths and strengthen the climate resilience of the country's educational system to develop the needed capacities to access green thematic debt markets. Specific objectives include: (i) an increase of coverage in education with an emphasis on climate resilience in primary and secondary education levels; (ii) an increase in educational pathways protection, including amongst migrants; (iii) an increase to educational services for disabled populations; and (iv) the strengthening of management and capacities within the relevant sectors to improve education services, as well as the identification, design and execution of projects that integrate climate resilience as well as the systems and infrastructure needed to report impact tied to climate monitoring, reporting and verification systems.
