According to the Bank’s website, the objective of this project is to increase the internal capacities of the Undersecretariat of Public Financing of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, through the transfer of knowledge to a team of professionals from the Ministry of Economy and Finance of Peru. The aim is to promote management skills in relation to planning, negotiation, contracting, registration and file management of public debt operations. In addition, to acquire lessons learned and best practices in relation to procedures and management of public debt, generating an increase in productivity and performance.

ACCOUNTABILITY MECHANISM OF IADB
The Independent Consultation and Investigation Mechanism (MICI) is the independent complaint mechanism and fact-finding body for people who have been or are likely to be adversely affected by an Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) or Inter-American Investment Corporation (IIC)-funded project. If you submit a complaint to MICI, they may assist you in addressing the problems you raised through a dispute-resolution process with those implementing the project and/or through an investigation to assess whether the IDB or IIC is following its own policies for preventing or mitigating harm to people or the environment.
