Project Description

According to the IADB, the overall objective of this Technical Cooperation (TC) is to strengthen the institutional capacity of BANDEX and the financial authorities to develop and implement a second-tier banking model and a partial credit guarantee fund, thereby supporting the preparation and execution of operation DR-L1177.As a result, BANDEX is expected to enhance its institutional capacity to operationalize its new business model, improving access to productive financing for micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs). In addition, the institutional capacity of the financial authorities will be strengthened to develop the regulatory and supervisory framework required for BANDEX's new business model.
