According to the IADB, the objective of this technical cooperation (TC) is to support the use of artificial intelligence to increase the efficiency of the General System of Social Security in Health (SGSS) in Colombia. To meet this objective, the TC will focus on i) assisting in the design and implementation of artificial intelligence tools based on models and algorithms for the auditing processes of health services and technologies, considering the ethical use of AI, ii) developing training sessions for the personnel of the Resource Administrator of the General Social Security Health System - ADRES - to promote the ethical and responsible use of artificial intelligence techniques and, iii) deploying experience exchange sessions with other countries.

ACCOUNTABILITY MECHANISM OF IADB
The Independent Consultation and Investigation Mechanism (MICI) is the independent complaint mechanism and fact-finding body for people who have been or are likely to be adversely affected by an Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) or Inter-American Investment Corporation (IIC)-funded project. If you submit a complaint to MICI, they may assist you in addressing the problems you raised through a dispute-resolution process with those implementing the project and/or through an investigation to assess whether the IDB or IIC is following its own policies for preventing or mitigating harm to people or the environment.
