Support the Colombian government for the creation of a Project Management Office (PMO) to structure and implement a Comprehensive Strategy for Rural Productivity, strengthening the areas of road infrastructure, land adaptation and rural social development. Specifically, it seeks to: (i) achieve the articulation of the different levels of government for the implementation of prioritized projects to improve rural productivity in selected PDET municipalities; (ii) provide support for institutional and security strengthening; (iii) consolidate actions for the strategic communication of the activities to be carried out in the territories in order to achieve greater appropriation and sustainability of the projects.
The country's counterpart ammount to USD 20,000.
ACCOUNTABILITY MECHANISM OF IADB
The Independent Consultation and Investigation Mechanism (MICI) is the independent complaint mechanism and fact-finding body for people who have been or are likely to be adversely affected by an Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) or Inter-American Investment Corporation (IIC)-funded project. If you submit a complaint to MICI, they may assist you in addressing the problems you raised through a dispute-resolution process with those implementing the project and/or through an investigation to assess whether the IDB or IIC is following its own policies for preventing or mitigating harm to people or the environment.
