The main objective of this cooperation is to improve access, conditions and sources for financing early stage companies through debt services. To accomplish this, it is imperative to work with financial allies and entrepreneurial support entities, to consolidate a support tool aligned with the characteristics, dynamics and needs of young companies with high growth potential. The specific objectives are: (a) To elaborate new risk evaluation methodologies for early stage companies associated with the characteristics of this type of businesses. (b) To strengthen financial allies to integrate new risk assessments that will allow access to financial resources to young companies. (c) To establish financial debt capabilities in firm-support agents. (d) To improve funding access to innovative firm in early stages with high growth potential.
ACCOUNTABILITY MECHANISM OF IADB
The Independent Consultation and Investigation Mechanism (MICI) is the independent complaint mechanism and fact-finding body for people who have been or are likely to be adversely affected by an Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) or Inter-American Investment Corporation (IIC)-funded project. If you submit a complaint to MICI, they may assist you in addressing the problems you raised through a dispute-resolution process with those implementing the project and/or through an investigation to assess whether the IDB or IIC is following its own policies for preventing or mitigating harm to people or the environment.
