Project Description
This technical cooperation project aims to support the implementation and execution of the Fiscal and Public Investment Expenditure Strengthening Program for Municipalities, which will have as beneficiaries the cities of Bucaramanga, Manizales, Monteria, Pasto and Pereira. The general objectives are to contribute to the improvement of fiscal sustainability and the provision of urban infrastructure and public services in five municipalities through the financing of institutional strengthening and physical investment projects. The objectives are: (i) to improve fiscal performance in terms of income and public expenditure; (ii) improve urban planning, infrastructure and services; and (iii) improve access to and quality of public services.

The USD 300,000 investment is in the form of non-reimbursable Technical Cooperation funded by the Spanish Framework General Fund.
