The general objective is to contribute to the Program Guajira Azul of the Government of Colombia, to increase the population served with water suitable for human consumption, with continuity and adequate sanitation.The specific objectives are: (i) to increase the access and quality of the services of water and sanitation, in urban populations of the Department of La Guajira, particularly in those areas most affected by recent migratory flows; and (ii) improve the management capacity of local providers
ACCOUNTABILITY MECHANISM OF IADB
The Independent Consultation and Investigation Mechanism (MICI) is the independent complaint mechanism and fact-finding body for people who have been or are likely to be adversely affected by an Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) or Inter-American Investment Corporation (IIC)-funded project.
