According to the bank website, "the Project consists of the design, construction, and operation of a greenfield motor vehicle assembly plant, and the establishment of flagship dealerships in Karachi and /or Lahore (hereafter referred to as 'the Project'). The assembly plant will consist of a body shop, paint shop and assembly shop with inspection line, test course, motor pool, warehouses and utilities. The plant will be located on approximately 60 acres within the M3 Industrial City in Faisalabad in Punjab province. The plant initially proposes to assemble three different 'completely knocked down' (CKD) models based on current and anticipated demand in Pakistan. CKD kits and some component parts will be imported from South Korea, while other parts will be sourced locally. The number of component parts sourced locally is expected to increase over time as HNMPL plans to invest in the development of local supply chains."

ACCOUNTABILITY MECHANISM OF MIGA
The Compliance Advisor Ombudsman (CAO) is the independent complaint mechanism and fact-finding body for people who believe they are likely to be, or have been, adversely affected by an IFC or MIGA- financed project. If you submit a complaint to the CAO, they may assist you in resolving a dispute with the company and/or investigate to assess whether the IFC is following its own policies and procedures for preventing harm to people or the environment. If you want to submit a complaint electronically, you can email the CAO at CAO@worldbankgroup.org. You can learn more about the CAO and how to file a complaint at http://www.cao-ombudsman.org/
