Project Description

The objective of the Technical Cooperation is to support investment attraction and export promotion activities in the Brazilian Amazon region, including: (i) the design, capacity-building and execution of a strategy for export promotion and investment attraction in the Amazon region, including the creation and implementation of a possible structure for investment attraction and export promotion in the Amazon region and (ii) export promotion and investment attraction activities, particularly in the bioeconomy, food, and beverages sectors.

The Independent Consultation and Investigation Mechanism (MICI) is the independent complaint mechanism and fact-finding body for people who have been or are likely to be adversely affected by an Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) or Inter-American Investment Corporation (IDB Invest)-funded project.
