According to the Bank's website, this project finances technical cooperation to support the new National Housing Policy in Brazil. The implementing agencies will be the National Secretariat for Housing and the Ministry of Regional Development.
Specifically, this technical cooperation will provide practical guidelines for the main products of the national policy including local developments regarding: home improvements, social rental housing models, demand-orientated subsidies for home ownership, enhanced access to credit, optimisation of beneficiary selection and promotion of housing finance modernisation.
