The general objective of the program is to enhance the tourism competitiveness of Salvador, maximizing the economic and social benefits of the activity, especially through its main comparative advantage: cultural tourism linked to Afro-Brazilian culture. The specific objectives are: (i) to strengthen the offer of Afro-centered cultural tourism in Salvador; (ii) to revitalize the Commerce District to consolidate its tourism vocation; and (iii) to improve the monitoring and promotion of tourism in Salvador, with an emphasis on the Afro-centered cultural offer.
