Project Description
If provided by the financial institution, the Early Warning System Team writes a short summary describing the purported development objective of the project and project components. Review the complete project documentation for a detailed description.

According to the IADB, this project will support the crucial role of local and traditional communities in combating deforestation through a small grants program based on calls for proposals. The project will support territorial governance and sustainable economic activities carried out by Indigenous peoples, Afro-descendants and traditional communities (IPADTCs) organizations which are essential for the conservation of Amazonia's ecosystems. Additionally, it will strengthen their autonomy and empowerment, fostering more equitable and just resource management.
