Project Description

The Project involves the construction and operation of a 100 megawatt (MW) photovoltaic (PV) plant which will be located on land within Zongoro Village in Ganjuwa Local Government Area of Bauchi State, about 20 km from Bauchi, the State Capital. The power plant consists of a solar PV plant that will consist of about 340,000 polycrystalline PV panels on fixed structures, an onsite substation, a dedicated 18 km 330 KV transmission line which will connect the Project to the national grid, internal access roads, on-site accommodations and an assembly area. The Project site requires a total 200 hectares for permanent use and approximately 34 hectares for temporary use.
