According to the Bank´s website, the general objective of the Technical Cooperation is to provide technical support to the entities involved in the execution of the "Children's Social Protection Program" by producing analytical products that contribute to the implementation of the activities of Components 2 and 3 of the Program. The Specific Objectives of the Technical Cooperation are: (i) to technically support the National Secretariat for Childhood, Adolescence, and Family (SNNAF) in the redesign and implementation of the National Early Childhood Strategy, which encompasses the programmatic offerings and operational work of the Secretariat; and (ii) to support the National Council for the Coordination of Social Policies (CNCPS) in the design and implementation of the Integrated Social Information System (SIIS), through the conduct of necessary diagnostics and preliminary studies for its implementation.

ACCOUNTABILITY MECHANISM OF IADB
The Independent Consultation and Investigation Mechanism (MICI) is the independent complaint mechanism and fact-finding body for people who have been or are likely to be adversely affected by an Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) or Inter-American Investment Corporation (IIC)-funded project.
