According to the bank, this TC (technical cooperation) would aim to analyze the situation of drinking water and sanitation systems in the Metropolitan Area of the City of Buenos Aires and the Buenos Aires Conurbation operated by AYSA and evaluate alternatives for the reduction of Non-Revenue water, to improve the energy efficiency of systems and renewable energy alternatives.

The Independent Consultation and Investigation Mechanism (MICI) is the independent complaint mechanism and fact-finding body for people who have been or are likely to be adversely affected by an Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) or Inter-American Investment Corporation (IIC)-funded project.
