According to the World Bank, the objective of the project is to improve productivity and market access for small holder farmers and agri-enterprises for selected value chains in project participating counties.
As stated by the World Bank, The environmental risk classification for the parent project is substantial and remains substantial for the Additional Financing.
The social risk rating for the proposed AF is substantial, same as the parent project.
