According to bank provided information, the project objective is to improve access to improved water services and well-managed sanitation services.
The proposed changes under this additional financing and a level 2 restructuring will cover (1) changes in component costs, (2) extension of the project closing date, and (3) changes to the results framework. The project objective remains unchanged, and the project will maintain the existing four components and all original subcomponents. A Project Restructuring will be conducted to include an additional US$45.00 million to cover the cost overruns in Components 1, 2, and 3 and additional supervision costs for Component 4.
