According to the bank's documents, the project objective is "To support positive disruptions and advances in the social protection system to make it more adaptive and to build crisis-resilience among poor and vulnerable households." In addition, "The IPF Component of the project is expected to finance Technical Assistance supporting various aspects of the PforR implementation. To inform the overall design of the crisis-resilient SP system, it would support impact and process evaluations of the COVID-19 response implemented by the Government."
