Project Description

According to bank documents, the project aims to prevent, detect, and respond to the threat posed by COVID-19 and strengthen national systems for public health preparedness in Kosovo. It has the following components: 

  • Component 1: Emergency COVID-19 response
  • Component 2: Supporting households to comply with public health containment measures
  • Component 3: Project management, communications, and community engagement

The World Bank has classified this project as having Substantial environmental and social risks.
