According to bank documents, this World Bank funding will support the prevention, detection and support of immediate response to the threat posed by the COVID-19 pandemic. It will strengthen the Palestinian health systems for public health preparedness.
Project components are:
1) Emergency Covid-19 Response
2) Strengthening overall healthcare services and clinical capacity to respond to Covid-19
3) Project implementation and monitoring
The World Bank has classified this project as having a Substanial environmental and social risk.
