Project Description

According to Bank documents, this project provides financing to prepare and respond to the COVID-19 pandemic in Tajikistan. Components include:

  • Strengthening intensive care capacity, including infection prevention and control, and improving and establishing ICUs
  • Multisectoral response planning and community preparedness
  • Temporary social support for food-insecure households

The World Bank has assigned this project a Substantial risk rating.
