The ERIK Project had been approved by the World Bank Board of Executive Directors on May 25, 2018, in the amount of US$20 million (US$10 million equivalent IDA Credit 6238-KG and US$10 million equivalent IDA Grant D318-KG) and became effective on February 26, 2019.
Project Objectives:
Component 1: Strengthening Disaster Preparedness and Response Systems (original estimated cost: US$4 million)
Component 2: Improving Safety and Functionality of School Infrastructure (original estimated cost: US$12 million)
Component 3: Enhancing Financial Protection (original estimated cost: US$3 million).
Component 4: Project Management and Monitoring & Evaluation (original estimated cost: US$1 million).
Component 5: Contingent Emergency Response (original estimated cost: US$0)
ACCOUNTABILITY MECHANISM OF WORLD BANK
The World Bank Inspection Panel is the independent complaint mechanism and fact-finding body for people who believe they are likely to be, or have been, adversely affected by a World Bank-financed project. If you submit a complaint to the Inspection Panel, they may investigate to assess whether the World Bank is following its own policies and procedures for preventing harm to people or the environment.
