The project 'Atal Bhujal Yojana (ABHY) - National Groundwater Management Improvement Program' is proposed to improve the management of groundwater resources in seven states of India. These participating states include Gujarat, Maharashtra, Haryana, Karnataka, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Uttar Pradesh. The activities under the program are mapped to the two result areas. Activities under Results Area 1 will focus on:
Results Area 2 focuses on building institutional capacity at all levels, including improving groundwater information and making it publicly accessible.
