As stated in the project disclosure, the IFC will support the GoU in screening a pipeline of projects to determine their suitability for implementation under a PPP framework. As part of this exercise, the Client will propose potential projects to IFC for evaluation.
Projects identified to be suitable for development under PPP may move forward as a full mandate for transaction advisory services.
The Project objective is to support the Government of Uzbekistan in high level screening of the investment project pipeline to identify 3-4 transactions to progress to full IFC mandates for transaction advisory support.

As stated by DevEx, Uzsuvtaminot JSC was established by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated November 26, 2019 No PF-5883. Its charter capital was formed through the transfer of state assets and shares in the charter capital of state unitary enterprises of the Ministry of Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Uzbekistan, which were reorganized into limited liability companies.
The agency's mandate is consists of ensuring completeness and timeliness of payments for water supply and drainage services provided by the Bureau of Enforcement under the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan from January 1, 2020, reducing consumer debt Uzsuvtaminot JSC and its affiliated organizations have been transferred.
