Project Description

According to the bank document, the Project aims "to expand the farm capacities and its ancillary facilities in Guangxi. Guangxi Yangxiang Co., Ltd (“Yangxiang” or the “Company”) was established in 1998 in Guigang City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China. Its main businesses are the breeding and farming of pigs, and pig farm services. The proposed IFC investment is an A loan of up to CNY560 million (approximately US$80 million equivalent).  The proposed investment is part of IFC Agribusiness’s African Swine Flu (ASF) Regional Recovery Program".
