As stated by the IDB Invest, the Vientos Bonaerenses III and IV project involves the construction of two wind farms in the municipalities of Tornquist (VBIII) and Bahía Blanca (VBIV), in the province of Buenos Aires.
The Project, which will consist of 16 wind turbines (8 per farm) and have a total installed capacity of 99.1 MW, includes the supply, installation, engineering, procurement, and construction of:
(i) the VBIII and VBIV wind farms;
(ii) an expansion of the existing 33 kV electrical substation to evacuate the energy generated to the Argentine Interconnection System (SADI) through the Tres Picos 132/33 kV Transformation Station;
(iii) an internal underground medium-voltage and communication network;
(iv) an operation and maintenance building; and
(v) access roads and auxiliary roads within the farms.

AES Energetica Argentina SA is the company's Argentinian subsidiary.
