According to the banks website, the IDB Invest is considering providing up to US$12 million in long-term financing to Apps Solutions International Inc. ("Applaudo" or the "Company"), a company incorporated in Panama. The proposed financing package includes a senior A Loan of up to US$4 million from IDB Invest and a senior B Loan of up to US$8 million by third parties. The proposed financing will be used to (i) fund capital expenditures for the development of new products, (ii) implement operational efficiency improvements, (iii) carry out key technological upgrades, (iv) support workforce expansion through the hiring of additional personnel, and (v) strengthen its overall financial position.
The objective of the proposed financing is to support Applaudo's growth and enhance its competitiveness in the digital services sector, contributing to the expansion of high-value digital capabilities and services across its markets in El Salvador.

ACCOUNTABILITY MECHANISM OF IDB / IDB INVEST
The Independent Consultation and Investigation Mechanism (MICI) is the independent complaint mechanism and fact-finding body for people who have been or are likely to be adversely affected by an Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) or Inter-American Investment Corporation (IDB Invest)-funded project. If you submit a complaint to MICI, they may assist you in addressing the problems you raised through a dispute-resolution process with those implementing the project and/or through an investigation to assess whether the IDB or IDB Invest is following its own policies for preventing or mitigating harm to people or the environment.
