According to the IDB Invest, The Bahamas Group of Striping Companies is seeking financing for the Eleuthera Road Improvement Project. This initiative aims to construct and rehabilitate key roadways across Eleuthera to enhance connectivity, safety, and the overall travel experience. The project involves the reconstruction and paving of 93 miles of highway and 50 miles of settlement roads, with an estimated cost of US$100 million.
IDB Invest will lead a financing effort of approximately US$15 million through uncommitted revolving financing to support the project's execution.

The Independent Consultation and Investigation Mechanism (MICI) is the independent complaint mechanism and fact-finding body for people who have been or are likely to be adversely affected by an Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) or Inter-American Investment Corporation (IDB Invest)-funded project. If you submit a complaint to MICI, they may assist you in addressing the problems you raised through a dispute-resolution process with those implementing the project and/or through an investigation to assess whether the IDB or IDB Invest is following its own policies for preventing or mitigating harm to people or the environment.
