The proposed operation consists of the financing of up to US$30 million that will allow Eurocapital S.A. ("Eurocapital") expand its factoring and financial leasing operations with Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises ("SMEs") in Chile. The transaction contemplates a revolving A/B loan, unsecured, for up to US$30 million. The A loan will be for an amount of up to US$20 million, financed by IDB Invest. It is expected to mobilize resources through a B loan for an approximate amount of US$10 million.
The operation will have a term of up to two years, which may be renewed for up to two additional periods of up to two years each, at the discretion of IDB Invest. The loan funds will be used to finance SMEs through factoring and leasing operations in Chile.

ACCOUNTABILITY MECHANISM OF IDB / IDB INVEST
The Independent Consultation and Investigation Mechanism (MICI) is the independent complaint mechanism and fact-finding body for people who have been or are likely to be adversely affected by an Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) or Inter-American Investment Corporation (IDB Invest)-funded project.
