According to the Bank’s website, IDB Invest is considering an investment of up to US$15 million in responsAbility Sustainable Food - Latam (the "Fund"), marking the first cooperation with experienced impact manager responsAbility ("responsAbility" or "the Fund Manager"). The Fund will make mezzanine investments in fruit & vegetables producers, with an impact strategy on sustainable agriculture throughout LAC, strengthen agriculture value chains with a specific climate focus. This will be responsAbility's first fund entirely dedicated to Latin America and the Caribbean ("LAC"). The Fund will have a pan-LAC scope with a key focus on Mexico, Peru, Colombia, and Chile. The Fund would directly benefit global food security.

ACCOUNTABILITY MECHANISM OF IDB / IDB INVEST
The Independent Consultation and Investigation Mechanism (MICI) is the independent complaint mechanism and fact-finding body for people who have been or are likely to be adversely affected by an Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) or Inter-American Investment Corporation (IDB Invest)-funded project. If you submit a complaint to MICI, they may assist you in addressing the problems you raised through a dispute-resolution process with those implementing the project and/or through an investigation to assess whether the IDB or IDB Invest is following its own policies for preventing or mitigating harm to people or the environment.
