The bank says that "the loan will have a term of up to four years, with a six-month grace period for the principle, quarterly principle payments, and monthly interest payments. The proceeds from the loan will go to grow the loan portfolio for financing equipment to improve the energy efficiency of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises ("SMEs") and agribusinesses."

ACCOUNTABILITY MECHANISM OF IADB
The Independent Consultation and Investigation Mechanism (MICI) is the independent complaint mechanism and fact-finding body for people who have been or are likely to be adversely affected by an Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) or Inter-American Investment Corporation (IIC)-funded project.
