Nu Financeira is part of a leading financial technology group ("Nubank") based in Brazil that issues, administrates, processes, and transfers payments for post-paid credit cards as well as loans to individuals and Micro, Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises ("MSMEs").
The proceeds of the Project will be to increase its lending portfolio in MSMEs. This proposed transaction consists of a senior secured financing for Nu Financeira of up to the equivalent in Brazilian reais of up to US$75 million with a three-year tenor.

ACCOUNTABILITY MECHANISM OF IADB
The Independent Consultation and Investigation Mechanism (MICI) is the independent complaint mechanism and fact-finding body for people who have been or are likely to be adversely affected by an Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) or Inter-American Investment Corporation (IIC)-funded project.
