Bank Risk Rating

Environmental and social categorization assessed by the development bank as a measure of the planned project’s environmental and social impacts. A higher risk rating may require more due diligence to limit or avoid harm to people and the environment. For example, "A" or "B" are risk categories where "A" represents the highest amount of risk. Results will include projects that specifically recorded a rating, all other projects are marked ‘U’ for "Undisclosed."

Date when project documentation and funding is reviewed by the Board for consideration and approval. Some development banks will state a "board date" or "decision date." When funding approval is obtained, the legal documents are accepted and signed, the implementation phase begins.

Project Description

IDB Invest is proposing a participation of up to US$50 million as a limited partner in Victory Park Capital Investor Fund W, L.P (the "Fund"), a debt fund incorporated under the law of Delaware. The Fund strategy aims to provide tailor made senior financial structures to technology based non-bank financial institutions ("Fintechs") across Latin America and the Caribbean ("LAC"). IDB will not only be supporting one of the leading global alternative investment firms to expand its operations to the region but will also promote the development of a new asset class currently not available in the market. The Fund will provide flexible debt solutions currently not available in LAC.
