According to the Bank’s website, the objective of the technical cooperation is to diagnose and build the useful baseline to support the preparation of the Support Program for the Emergency Housing Plan and Containment of the Urban Deficit of the Ministry of Housing and Urbanism of Chile with a focus on migrants and install capacities in their national and subnational executing units. Specifically, the TC seeks to facilitate the collection and analysis of data on flows and housing deficit of the migrant population to improve the capacity in the formulation of policies for their urban and social integration and ensure their access to housing.

ACCOUNTABILITY MECHANISM OF IADB
The Independent Consultation and Investigation Mechanism (MICI) is the independent complaint mechanism and fact-finding body for people who have been or are likely to be adversely affected by an Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) or Inter-American Investment Corporation (IIC)-funded project.
