Project Description

According to the Bank’s website, the project consists of the operation execution reinforcement and design of Phase II of operation CH-L1138 (Support program for the export of global services; 4362/OC-CH). This is mainly aimed at developing a new policy and institutional framework for investment attraction, with strong focus on developing opportunities at the subnational level. Furthermore, this Technical Cooperation (TC) also looks forward to support trade facilitation projects, like promoting actions related to achieving greater interoperability. The CT will help to complete operation 4362/OC-Ch by supporting the services export sector and the attraction of investment in Chile. The multiplicity of institutions participating in activities related to strengthening export capacities and attracting investment from the global services sector makes it essential to reinforce coordination efforts.
