According to the Bank’s website, the project consists of the participation of up to EUR20 million in the 7-year tranche of Schuldschein issuance by Vetro-Recycling AG, the financing arm of Vetropack Group, a leading European manufacturer of glass containers.
The proceeds of the Bank's investment will be used to support 2026-2027 operating expenses of Vetropack Group's subsidiary in Ukraine.
Categorised B (ESP 2024). The proceeds of the bank will be limited to the company's Ukraine operations only.
Participation of up to €20 million in the 7-year tranche of Schuldschein issuance by the client.
Vetro-Recycling AG (LTD), domiciled in Switzerland, is the financing arm of Vetropack Group, a leading European manufacturer of glass containers (bottles, jars), operating 8 manufacturing sites in 7 European countries.

ACCOUNTABILITY MECHANISM OF EBRD
The Project Complaint Mechanism (PCM) is the independent complaint mechanism and fact-finding body for people who have been or are likely to be adversely affected by an European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD)-financed project. If you submit a complaint to the PCM, it may assess compliance with EBRD's own policies and procedures to prevent harm to the environment or communities or it may assist you in resolving the problem that led to the complaint through a dialogue with those implementing the project. Additionally, the PCM has the authority to recommend a project be suspended in the event that harm is imminent.
