As stated on the project disclosure page, the EBRD invested EUR 20 million in the EUR 140 million, 5-year senior unsecured bond issued by Aktor Group of Companies and listed on the Athens Stock Exchange.
The proceeds of the bond will finance the Issuer's and its subsidiaries' investment activities in infrastructure, energy and facility management sectors, including acquisitions, as well as refinancing of existing debt.
The proceeds of the EBRD's participation will be dedicated to investments in renewable energy generation, battery energy storage systems, social infrastructure, and water supply and wastewater projects in Greece.
The Bank's participation will provide funding to sustain the Group's momentum, enabling it to scale investments in renewable energy, social infrastructure, and water management, while supporting a first-time issuer on the Athens Stock Exchange. Additionally, these funds will be directed towards green eligible investments and will encourage increased private sector participation in public infrastructure projects.
As stated by the EBRD, AKTOR Group is incorporated in Greece and operates in the construction, concessions, renewables, and facility management sectors.

ACCOUNTABILITY MECHANISM OF EBRD
The Project Complaint Mechanism (PCM) is the independent complaint mechanism and fact-finding body for people who have been or are likely to be adversely affected by an European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD)-financed project. If you submit a complaint to the PCM, it may assess compliance with EBRD's own policies and procedures to prevent harm to the environment or communities or it may assist you in resolving the problem that led to the complaint through a dialogue with those implementing the project. Additionally, the PCM has the authority to recommend a project be suspended in the event that harm is imminent.
You can contact the PCM at: pcm@ebrd.com or you can submit a complaint online using an online form at: http://www.ebrd.com/eform/pcm/complaint_form?language=en
You can learn more about the PCM and how to file a complaint at: http://www.ebrd.com/work-with-us/project-finance/project-complaint-mechanism.html
