As stated by the EBRD, the project consists of a revolving working capital loan of up to EUR25 million in US dollar equivalent to TBF Holding Group is one of the leading agricultural commodity traders in Kazakhstan.
The loan proceeds will be utilised to finance the Group's seasonal working capital needs (i.e. trading activities).
According to the EBRD, facilitating better soil health and reduced fertiliser and water usage as well as improvement of the farmers' operational standards by an increase of the Group's procurement of organic certified soybeans produced in Kazakhstan during the tenor of the EBRD loan.
As stated by the EBRD, TBF Holding Group is one of the leading agricultural commodity traders in Kazakhstan. The Group's core trading operations are conducted through TradeAgra LLP (the borrower). In addition, the Group includes, among others, Agrimer Esil LLP, Agrimer Aulekol LLP, Agrimer Rudny LLP, Agrimer Beskol LLP, Agrimer Mamlutka LLP, Agrimer Zhanyspay LLP, and Agrimer-Astyk LLP (collectively, the borrowers), which are engaged in grain warehousing and storage.

ACCOUNTABILITY MECHANISM OF EBRD
The Project Complaint Mechanism (PCM) is the independent complaint mechanism and fact-finding body for people who have been or are likely to be adversely affected by an European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD)-financed project. If you submit a complaint to the PCM, it may assess compliance with EBRD's own policies and procedures to prevent harm to the environment or communities or it may assist you in resolving the problem that led to the complaint through a dialogue with those implementing the project. Additionally, the PCM has the authority to recommend a project be suspended in the event that harm is imminent.
