As stated by the EBRD, RG Brands Kyrgyzstan LLC is a subsidiary of RG Brands group of companies, which is the leading regional beverage producer, incorporated in Kazakhstan. The transaction envisages the provision of a long-term secured loan of up to EUR 4 million to RG Brands Kyrgyzstan LLC.
The loan proceeds will be utilised to (i) finance capital expenditure programme, including green capital expenditure and (ii) finance working capital needs.
The Project will have a Technical Cooperation (TC) component provided by the Japan-EBRD Cooperation Fund (JECF). The TC funds will cover 65 per cent of the legal due diligence costs. Remaining 35 per cent will be contributed by the client.
As stated by the EBRD, RG Brands Kyrgyzstan LLC is owned by RG Brands Holding, a holding company incorporated in UAE (DIFC), engaged in the distribution and sales of beverages in Kyrgyzstan. RG Brands Holding also owns RG Brands Kazakhstan LLP via RG Brands JSC, the leading regional beverage producer, incorporated in Kazakhstan.

ACCOUNTABILITY MECHANISM OF EBRD
The Project Complaint Mechanism (PCM) is the independent complaint mechanism and fact-finding body for people who have been or are likely to be adversely affected by an European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD)-financed project. If you submit a complaint to the PCM, it may assess compliance with EBRD's own policies and procedures to prevent harm to the environment or communities or it may assist you in resolving the problem that led to the complaint through a dialogue with those implementing the project. Additionally, the PCM has the authority to recommend a project be suspended in the event that harm is imminent.
