According to the Bank’s website, DFC is providing Pezesha with a pre-investment technical assistance grant over fifteen (15) months to scale up its credit scoring framework and better position Pezesha for a potential DFC debt investment. This TA will focus on the technical development of Pezesha’s credit scoring framework, specifically for its embedded financing product. The TA will include data science capacity building, credit model development, tracking credit model performance, improving data management, and building a fraud detection and prevention model. As a result of the TA, Pezesha will be equipped with more accurate, efficient, and effective lending models – enabling Pezesha’s leaders to make more sustainable lending decisions and better serve MSMEs in the region.
