Project Description

If provided by the financial institution, the Early Warning System Team writes a short summary describing the purported development objective of the project and project components. Review the complete project documentation for a detailed description.

According to the CDB, the project will improve the quality, equity, efficiency and effectiveness of the education system in Saint Lucia, making it responsive to the needs of diverse learners. This objective will be achieved through:
(a) expansion, rehabilitation and furnishing of selected institutions;
(b) improving the quality, relevance and effectiveness of instruction across the sector; and
(c) strengthening the leadership, governance and management capacity of the sector.
